During the pandemic, many EdTech companies leveraged the convenience of online education to offer innovative Master’s degree programs from top international universities. As schools and universities reopen, the learnings from the pandemic times are being leveraged by institutions like upGrad-INSOFE to offer the best offline and online education.
Online programs allow people to study at their convenience and are a boon for working professionals. However, they need to include a very important component of learning that offline programs bring in facilitating live interactions with faculty and peers. It is now well-recognized that live online interactions have a different impact and rigour than offline interactions. Working professionals are increasingly seeking offline programs but are constrained by their work schedules.
A program that gives the best of both worlds
upGrad-INSOFE has collaborated with the University of Arizona to provide its MS in Data Science program in a “blended” teaching model. In addition to the online degree program, upGrad-INSOFE has developed a curriculum that maps the MS program and is taught completely offline during weekends at a pace that does not overwhelm the learners.
This also ensures that learners get highly respected dual certifications without studying different curricula. The online MS in Data Science from the University of Arizona and the offline PGP in Full-Stack AI and ML Engineering jointly certified by upGrad-INSOFE and Case Western Reserve University aim to provide a strong career boost to learners.
This 2-year full-time Master’s program is designed specifically for working professionals who do not want to pause their careers while pursuing a higher degree. Anyone with a Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 50% marks) and at least two years of work experience can apply for this Master’s program.
In addition, they benefit from getting an international degree and a University of Arizona alum status right from India. After completing this Master’s program, students will be exposed to many career opportunities as Data Science and Full-Stack AI and ML Engineering continue to rise as ‘need-of-the-hour’ skills.
